Pride of Indian, Sundar Pichai


 
Sundar Pichai, pride of Indian born on south Indian family on 10 June 1972. His father was Regunatha Pichai was a junior electrical engineer at GEC, the British conglomerate. His salary was 2000 rupees at that time, he had a two rooms house, In which a room was given for rent, and everyone lived in one room. When he got a scholarship from Stanford University, in which he got everything, but he had to bear the cost of travelling himself. He wanted to take his mother with him, but he was able to buy a plane ticket from his father's salary for a year, and he was very sad about this.
He was very inspired by three things ( telephone, fridge, scooter) that came to his house. The fridge saved his mother's time so that she could give time to her children, her father's time was saved by the arrival of scooters and telephones. Through these incidents, he builds the idea for problem-solving products.

He was number one in studies, captain of the team in cricket. He was so innocent that, once when he was in college, once he heard an abuse, he thought it was a good word and he spoke the same word to his senior, they beat him a lot, and later he came to know that he did not know the meaning of that word.

Journey with Google

He joined Google in 2004, But his stature grew, when Microsoft put Google's Bing in his default brochure, he told this to his senior but his point was not accepted. But Microsoft launches Bing as the default Brochure on 3 June 2009. At the same time, Microsoft was observing him and finally, Microsoft offers him as CEO in 2013, He told to his boss and his boss got a survey done in his company, in which 1 lakh 34 thousand employees said out of 1 lakh 35 thousand employees " without Sundar, No Google ". He always says when he wants to resign, Google always gave him a promotion. On 24 October 2015, he was made the CEO of Google and in 2019 he was also made the CEO of Alphabet.

There is an interesting story behind Google Map one day Sundar Pichai had to go for dinner with his wife Anjali Pichai, his wife reached on time but he couldn't reach on time due to loss of way so his wife was so angry with him, he actually got the idea of Google Map after this incident. 
He launched a Google map in 2005 in the USA and launch in the UK two month later and finally in India, he launched Google Map on 18 November 2019.
And now he has 1 billion active users across the world.

There is also an interesting story behind the Google lens, one day her daughter ask him the name of a flower but he had failed to give the answer to her question and so he feels very bad about that, and then he decided to make something which able to scan something and give every information and then he makes the team and build the foundation of Google lens. Finally, he launches google the lens on 4 October 2017.
